Impressionable/Non-Impressionable.

Impressionable/Non-Impressionable.

A few minutes ago, I was thinking of my very impressionable days.  Even now, the so-called powers that be continue 2 treat me, not as an individual.  But as something that should always be impressionable.  It also occured 2 me, that way back in October 1987 I was very impressionable indeed.  Something happened 2 me, that would change my whole perception forever.

It all started when I was on YTS.  Those of you that do not know what YTS means, I will put your minds at ease.  YTS was short for Youth Training Scheme.  I was based in Shrewsbury on one, at a certain Castle Foregate.  One morning I had gone 2 Shrewsbury very early, about 8am.  So I went for a walk around Shrewsbury.  Seems quite innocent.  But actually, it wasn't all that innocent.

You see, I had bought a toy gun from a toyshop.  I was carrying this toy-gun around Shrewsbury. By 1pm that same day, the whole town was surrounded by Police.  When they confiscated the gun, they realised their own mistakes.  That evening, the Shropshire Star had got hold of the entire story.  They had fantasized a bloody good story.  But the next day, they had 2 change the story instead.

What is the point 2 all this you may ask?  It's 2 give you a perception of the so-called powers upstairs, and how they end up making bigger cock-ups than the rest of us put together.  You see, at the time this whole thing was going on, the band Sigue Sigue Sputnik were very big.  If you can remember one of their videos?  In it Martin Degville and Tony James carried guns.  But when I re-enacted the scenes, it went horribly wrong.

When we are teenagers, we often do impressionable things.  Some things we don't even know we're doing.  The powers that be upstairs encourage us all, 2 be impressionable.  But when we do become impressionable, it then becomes wrong in their eyes.  We are allowed 2 make mistakes, but only when it suits the fatheads upstairs.  They like 2 change the concepts of the game, so that they can always win every-which-way.  But the real impressionables are the twats upstairs.  My whole point 2 this Post is, Don't Let The Bastards Kick You Down, Even When You Have Been Kicked Down.

You and I are people too.  We have physical and emotional needs too.  But the twats upstairs don't see us properly.  I do not think that a politician is worthy of being a politician, unless he/she can live like we live.  I also think that a politician should be put on special registars, for Five/Ten years.  A poor person has 2 live like this all the time.  If politicians, survive the whole test, they can practice as politicians.  They have 2 do this with Doctors.  So why not adopt this idea for politicians 2 live by?
